Under-Sink Reverse Osmosis in Coral Springs

"My provider already uses RO. Why add one?"

Pre-filters and chloramine

Certifications to look for

RO systems are certified under NSF/ANSI 58. If you want a specific reduction, such as fluoride, lead or PFOA/PFOS, the exact model's listing must include it. Do not rely on brand-wide claims.

Upkeep and cost

RO is popular with households that buy a lot of bottled water, people who cook with a lot of water, and offices or gyms that want a filtered water station. For chloramine-free showers and laundry as well, add a whole-home system.

For maintenance: change pre-filters on schedule, since they protect the membrane from chloramine; change the membrane when production or taste drops; and replace the alkaline cartridge as listed for your model.
